Storyline:
In America ravaged by crime and prison overcrowding, the government sanctioned an annual period of 12 hours in which any criminal activity, including murder to become legally. Percent are called police. Hospitals help prevention. There was one night where citizens regulate itself without thinking about punishment. Tonight plagued by an epidemic of violence and crime, a family wrestling with a decision will come when a stranger knocks. When thieves break into James Sandins (Ethan Hawke), a gated during the lockout year, begins a series of events that threatens to tear the family apart. Now, it's up to James, his wife, Mary (Lena Headey), and their children to make it through the night without turning into monsters whom they hide.
