Storyline:
Gus is a baseball scout. The team that works thinks that he has retired. He calls on them to make them do more work to prove themselves Scouts. His friend Pete, asking Guss estranged daughter, Mickey, if she could go with him to make sure hes not in his eyes. The doctor tells Gus he should get treated eyes, but he insists on doing his scouting mission that leads him to North Carolina. Mickey decides to put their work out there to go with him and she wants him to explain why he rejected it. While you will come across Johnny scouts from other teams that were once promising player Gus noticed. Johnny and Mickey take an interest in each other.
